Are kids invited?
While we love your kiddos, the ceremony & reception will be an adults only affair. If you are traveling from out of town and want resources for childcare let us know if we can help in any way.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place?
Yes, both will be taking place at the Hawthorne Hotel in the ballroom. We will have a long cocktail hour in between the ceremony and reception with dinner after 7.

Are there other wedding events in Salem?
Yes, we will be hosting a welcome party on Thursday night at The Cellar (in the basement of the Hotel Salem). Please join us for drinks and some snacks from 6:30-9:30 PM if you are in town!
Will food be served?
No, please bring your own food. Just kidding...we will be serving dinner and light bites at cocktail hour. There will be vegetarian options available but please let us know as soon as you can if you have any food allergies or if you are vegan.

What's the deal with COVID?
At this time, we will be requesting that everyone take a rapid COVID test within 24 hours of the wedding. We will be following any state and local guidelines regarding masks and vaccination requirements as of January 2023.

How do I get to the venue?
Trains, planes & automobiles. If you are planning on driving we recommend allowing extra time. Please see the parking & MBTA information on the "Details" page for more details. There will be an open bar at our wedding so please plan accordingly for a safe trip home.

What is your wedding hashtag?
We don't have one, but if you are a talented wordsmith feel free to send us your suggestions. We will be having an unplugged ceremony but you are welcome to take your own pictures afterwards and we would love for you to share them with us.
